The spacious cottage nestles in a quiet green valley, where bushy branches fill the landscape and birds are your neighbours.
Milkwood Cottage sleeps 8 comfortably. All 4 bedrooms are very private. Three of the four with en-suite bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen features a 4-plate gas hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer, as well as all necessary cutlery/crockery for a convenient stay. The living area offers comfortable seating, open fireplace and television. French doors open onto the sun deck with a weber braai facility. Guests can braai on the deck or follow a secluded path in the garden to discover the lapa. A real treat after a day of swimming or fishing and always a winner with kids! Heated blankets and the fireplace in the lounge make the cottage a welcoming getaway during winter months as well! South African mild winters are made for long walks on the beach, whale watching and exploring all beautiful towns the Garden Route has to offer.
The en-suite bathroom blurs the boundaries between inside and outside with its relaxing and rustic interior.
Natural materials are used for the interiors throughout the cottage.
Watch the birds splashing in the water and lizards baking in the sun…all from the deck of the cottage.
Another hidden gem at Milkwood Cottage’s property is the outside shower. You have to try it under a sky full of stars!
