This relaxing self-catering home is tucked away in a quiet green valley in the seaside village of Hersham in the Garden Route, South Africa. The pristine beach is a ten-minute walk or short drive away from the cottage.
The spacious Milkwood Cottage comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 en-suite bathrooms and sleeps 8 comfortably. The cottage nestles amongst native trees and the lush garden provides welcoming privacy. Enjoy swimming, fishing, bird watching or just breathe in the fresh wild air – here is nothing but nature around you!
Accommodation
The cottage comprises of a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen, four double bedrooms and three en-suite bathrooms. The fourth bedroom is separately located (outside entrance downstairs), with its own bathroom. Guests can barbeque on the deck or follow a secluded path in the garden to discover the lapa. The lapa is sheltered by trees and is equipped with an open fireplace and a weber. Definitely a place where families can truly bond and friends can be made! Additionally the garden boasts an outside shower, a trampoline, swings and a big sandpit that will keep the children entertained while you relax on the deck. Heated blankets and the fireplace in the lounge make the cottage a welcoming getaway during winter months as well! South African mild winters are made for long walks on the beach, whale watching and exploring all beautiful towns the Garden Route has to offer. Milkwood Cottage is an ideal spot for short breaks as well as longer holidays and is a mere 15-minute drive away from the George Airport. VIEW GALLERY

A ten-minute walk from the cottage will take you to the pristine Hersham beach. Enjoy nature at its best while swimming or fishing in these picturesque surroundings.
